These students are required to attend 2 one-hour ballet technique classes a week.
This intermediate class is for students comfortable with beginning ballet technique. Movers will enhance their knowledge of movements for Adagio, Petit Allegro, and Grand Allegro progressions to move through the traditional structure of a classical ballet class. Development of turnout, height of legs, pirouettes (turning), changing directions of the body, and a variety of small and large jumps are all focused on in this level. This class meets twice a week for all incoming students ages typically 11-12 and returning students placed in this level.
