These students are required to attend 2 one-hour ballet technique classes a week.
This intermediate class will focus on maintaining a refined extension of the limbs during Adagio progressions, an airy quality during the fast paced tension of Petit Allegro, and traversing the space with ease during Grand Allegro combinations. Emphasis is placed on awareness of maintaining correct lines and positioning of the body during complex movement. Students will continue to incorporate the performance of the upper body to develop artistic expression. The class meets twice a week for all incoming students ages 12 and up along with returning students placed in this level.
