This program is a partnership with the Georgia College & State University Department of Music. The department is committed to serving the broader university community through inclusive participation in ensembles and engaging course offerings. In order to do so, we would like to invite members of the local community to apply to participate in our ensembles. Applications are due by noon on Tuesday, January 7.

Welcome to Community Ensembles!
It is impossible to replicate all of your backgrounds, experiences and cultures in this single course, so here is what we hope for you in this course:
- We hope you come into rehearsal each day with an open mind and an inquisitive heart.
- When you see or hear something (music or feedback) ask Why? What if? and How?
- When you answer that, possibly with "What if I do this?", we hope you will have the courage to share this with your fellow musicians.
- We hope you will allow others to change the way you think about the music.
- We hope as you work through this process you become a stronger musician and that you will apply this open spirit and inquisitive nature to other parts of your life.
**Acceptance into the music ensembles is at the discretion of the instructor.
Wind Symphony
Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:30pm- 4:45pm.
