Competition Price
$60 per team
$15 per individual participant
Competition Participation
Participation is limited to ages 13+ that have not yet received a high school diploma or GED.
Enrollment at the Junior Varsity (JV) level is limited to those who have not been enrolled in pre-calculus or a higher class.
Enrollment at the Varsity level is open to any level of math, but recommended for those in pre-calculus and above.
Competition Breakdown
This competition is comprised of a graded individual exam.
Awards will be given to the top individual scorers of the individual exams for junior varsity and varsity.
An award will be given to the top scoring team of four for junior varsity and varsity. This will be decided by the combined scores of the individual exams for the four participants.
Team Puzzle Challenge
After lunch, students will participate in a Team Puzzle Challenge, where they work together to solve fun math problems. The Team Puzzle Challenge is a non-competitive event and will not impact the competition scores.
Scoring
Scoring for the individual exams will be on a points basis. The team score will be the combined total of all four team member scores.
Correct Answer: 3 points
Incorrect Answer: 0 points
Blank Answer: 1 point
No calculators or other tech devices are allowed in the exam rooms.

Complete the registration form. *registration is first-come, first-serve. Your registration is tentative until your receive an additional email confirming or denying your registration

- Have all participants complete the mandatory online waiver prior to arriving on campus.

Refunds
- Requests for refunds must be made by February 19, 2027.
- Any requests made after this date are not refundable.
- This includes both partial and full refunds.
- To request a refund, please email continuingeducation@gcsu.edu and state what school you are with and what you need a refund for. Refunds will be returned by whatever payment method was used to pay your invoice (credit card or check).
