Discover Summer at GCSU

Bobcat Explorers FAQs

Give your child a summer filled with curiosity, creativity, and campus adventure with Bobcat Explorers, a specialty summer camp experience from Continuing & Professional Education at Georgia College & State University. Designed to go beyond the traditional day camp model, Bobcat Explorers features immersive, themed weeks led by specialty instructors and university experts who bring advanced knowledge, creativity, and real-world experience into every session.

Campers engage in hands-on learning experiences that dive deeper into subjects like science, fine arts, athletics, and more — all while being supported by dedicated counselors who help create a welcoming, energetic, and encouraging environment.

In addition to expert-led programming, campers enjoy daily recreation and swim time in the outdoor campus pool (weather permitting) under certified lifeguard supervision. Life jackets are required for campers who do not pass the swim test.

With flexible week-by-week registration, Bobcat Explorers offers a dynamic, elevated camp experience your child will look forward to all summer long.
